Summer beers are traditionally made with wheat malt, and thus the most common styles of summer seasonal beers are Hefeweizens, Belgian Witbiers and the emerging style known as American Wheat Ale. All are very light with some notes of fruitiness and are quite drinkable in the heat of the summertime.
